tenreformer, the boutique Dynamic Reformer Pilates franchise concept from fitness wellness provider Ten Health & Fitness, has announced its first location in Islington, London, set to open October this year.
The first studio will be owned and operated as a concept studio by Ten Health & Fitness, acting as a marker as the brand moves ahead with plans to launch at least 10 more studios over the next 12 months.
The Islington studio will feature 18 state-of-the-art reformers, designed in conjunction with Balanced Body, and expert coaching teams delivering hands-on guidance, authentic motivation, and innovative class concepts.
Each instructor has completed tenreformer’s course from the Ten Education training programme, ensuring the same high teaching standards that have defined Ten Health & Fitness for nearly two decades.
tenreformer distils 18 years of knowledge and expertise from Ten Health & Fitness, into a reformer-only boutique studio concept designed to be accessible, scalable, and community-driven.
£1.5m initial investment
The new franchise concept capitalises on the ever-growing popularity of Pilates, with ambitious growth plans underway following an initial investment from Foresight VCT of £1.5m.
tenreformer has also partnered with Balanced Body to provide bespoke reformers for the new studio, ensuring the equipment quality meets the highest standards.
Joanne Mathews, founder of Ten Health & Fitness, said: “Securing our first tenreformer location after just six months and with three franchisees in progress, it is a huge endorsement of the strength of the concept.
“We already have multiple conversations underway with potential partners and are confident we’ll hit our target of franchise launches in the next 12 months.”
